As a Remote IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing first-level issue troubleshooting via phone for all hardware and software supported by our systems. You will work closely with our internal and external support teams to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless communication with our clients.

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced IT professional to join our team as a Remote IT Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Providing first-level technical support to clients via phone, email, or chat
• Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
• Collaborating with internal and external support teams to resolve complex issues
• Conducting issue determination for various technology areas, including Voice, WAN, LAN, PC, and more
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of our systems, applications, and technologies

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A technical degree or equivalent experience
• Help desk or customer service experience
• Troubleshooting experience with service desk environments
• Knowledge of internal server/mainframe applications, such as Offers, QIK, IBM/TSO/TPX, and Staff
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Apple certification (Apple Genius)
• A+ Certification
• Experience with IT service management tools and technologies
