Position Overview:

Edmonds College, a vibrant and diverse institution, is seeking passionate and experienced educators to join our Associate Faculty Pool in International Education. As a part-time faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach and inspire adult English language learners from around the world, helping them achieve their academic and career goals.

About the Role:

We are looking for talented individuals to teach in our English Language Acquisition (ELA) and Academic English (AENGL) departments. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in TESL, a related field, or equivalent experience, as well as a passion for creating inclusive and culturally responsive learning environments. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English language learners in a variety of settings, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online classes
• Design and deliver curriculum and assessments that are culturally, linguistically, and socially equitable
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student success and promote academic excellence
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and faculty from diverse backgrounds

Requirements:

• BA or higher in TESL, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Teaching, classroom, or tutoring experience with adult English language learners
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English
• Experience with online synchronous instruction on Zoom or other platforms
