Job Description:

As a Part-Time Security Officer at Home Depot, you will be responsible for screening the Cumeberland Grounds complex, investigating suspicious events, and composing incident reports. You will also respond to crisis situations, perform security investigation visits, and work in the security Control Room.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the Cumeberland Grounds complex and investigate suspicious events
• Compose incident reports and interview victims and witnesses
• Respond to crisis situations and perform security investigation visits
• Work in the security Control Room and screen security check points
• Escort partners and guests to parking facilities as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and write to review and complete required reports and record-keeping activities
• Ability to assess HD property to ensure security of HD partners and guests

Working Conditions:

The Part-Time Security Officer will typically work in a comfortable indoor area with occasional exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes, or odors, temperature extremes, moderate noise, strong drafts, or bright lights.
