Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough follow-up with insurance companies to resolve claim status and payment issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Review patient accounts to identify potential insurance benefit eligibility and ensure accurate billing
  • Access client systems to determine insurance eligibility and filing status, preparing claims for billing
  • Request necessary documents from clients to facilitate insurance billing
  • Accurately track payments and payment verifications, ensuring seamless documentation and updates in all required systems
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly
  • Collaborate with the team to identify areas for process improvement, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations, adhering to company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; relevant work experience preferred
  • Previous insurance/medical billing/customer service experience highly desirable
  • Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality

Work Environment:

Remote work arrangement, with the option to work from home once internet speed test is successfully completed and submitted.
