Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students, aligning with the approved instructional program
• Establish a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters open communication, creativity, and academic excellence
• Assess student learning and progress, identifying areas of intervention and developing targeted strategies to support student success
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the broader school community to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and research-based methodologies in elementary education

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Active 305 CDE Certification, as required by the Connecticut State Department of Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field, with expertise in writing instruction and language development
• Proven experience in teaching elementary classes, with a strong track record of success in a multicultural setting
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
