VIRTUAL MONITORING ATTENDANT - PART-TIME NIGHTS (24 HRS)
Join Trinity Health of New England as a Virtual Monitoring Attendant (VMA) and be part of a team that is dedicated to delivering top-level care to our community. As a VMA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients through continuous monitoring via remote camera technology.
Job Summary
- Maintain visual observation of up to 12 patients at all times, monitoring patient behaviors and movements, and verbally redirecting patients as needed through a digital 2-way audio device.
- Support the plan of care for patients requiring virtual monitoring and document incidents, reporting any potential threats to patient safety.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, colleagues, and nursing staff in a courteous, positive, empathetic, and professional manner.
Schedule
- Onsite at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT
- 24 hours part-time nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Every other weekend and rotating holidays required
- 24/7 work environment, rain or shine
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- Able to function independently and manage own time and work tasks
- Healthcare experience preferred
