We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pet Care Ambassador - Sales Associate to join our team at Petco. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting pet care and wellness, and driving sales growth. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized service to every customer, assessing their needs and offering expert advice on pet care and products
• Stay up-to-date on new products, services, and promotions, and effectively communicate their features and benefits to customers
• Demonstrate a commitment to the ethical treatment of animals and maintain professional standards at all times
• Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners to create a collaborative and supportive store environment
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills, and stay current on industry trends and best practices
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including pet food, toys, and accessories, and make recommendations to customers based on their needs
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to changing situations and priorities
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, drive business growth, and promote a positive and inclusive store culture

Requirements:

• Passion for pet care and welfare, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to changing situations and priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move around the store as needed
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
