Job Summary and Qualifications In this role, you will maintain the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, and installing hardware and software. You will support the company's PCs, printers, and related equipment. A Technical Support Specialist should operate with minimal oversight, complete tasks efficiently, prioritize work, research procedures, and work proactively under the guidance of team members and senior specialists. Responsibilities include:
- Providing Tier 1 helpdesk support and resolving complex issues.
- Monitoring and responding to IT helpdesk requests, prioritizing tasks, and distributing tickets.
- Configuring workstations and utilities, automating configurations with scripts.
- Maintaining helpdesk documentation and procedures.
- Installing and testing new hardware and software, maintaining inventory, and managing PC deployment for new employees.
- Adhering to IT standards, policies, and procedures. End-user and team lead support.
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Windows 7 and above, MS Office 2007 and above, TCP/IP, and hardware.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, SCS, or related field preferred.
