Systems Engineer (Reliab, Maintain & Sys Health)Company:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate or Mid-Level Airplane Reliability Engineer with a strong background in the airline industry and expertise in data analytics to join our team in Seal Beach, CA. This role will focus on enhancing the reliability and performance of our aircraft through data-driven insights and analytics. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using Tableau to visualize data and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders, while also possessing data engineering skills to manage and analyze large datasets.Position Responsibilities: Analyze aircraft reliability data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement, leveraging data engineering techniques.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, engineering, and operations, to develop and implement reliability improvement initiatives.Utilize Tableau to create interactive dashboards and visualizations that provide insights into reliability metrics and performance indicators.Design and create various analytical reports and automated dashboards to help stakeholders identify critical issues and facilitate strategic planning.Develop custom SQL queries for data extraction and analysis from various databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.Conduct root cause analysis on reliability issues and develop actionable recommendations to mitigate risks.Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to aircraft reliability and maintenance.Create a process for reviewing input data from various sources and provide data quality metrics dashboards.Implement process improvements and lean methods to ensure high-quality data is readily available for analysis.Develop and maintain strong relationships with airline partners and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on reliability goals and initiatives.Participate in industry meetings, workshops, and conferences to stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in reliability engineering and data analytics.Work closely with airlines and Boeing suppliers to collect and validate in-service data, ensuring comprehensive data sets for analysis.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology… Apply To This Job
