Intern (gn) – Business Development Commercial

As an Intern (gn) – Business Development Commercial, you will support our B2B Commercial Business Development & Steering team by providing data-driven analysis and strategic insights. Collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will actively contribute to steering our commercial growth, ensuring transparency on performance and key business drivers. The starting date of this position is as soon as possible and the duration of the internship should be at least 6 months.

Your mission

  • You bring ownership and accountability for weekly business performance reporting, including sell-in, sell-out, and key commercial KPIs
  • You have a sharp eye for analyzing and assessing demand plan changes and forecast adjustments to identify revenue impact and areas for improvement
  • You bring the ability to conduct promo effectiveness and other ad-hoc analyses (e.g. pricing, distribution gaps) to support sound business decisions
  • You support monthly business reviews with the Key Account Management team by generating clear, actionable insights

Your experience & skills 

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • You bring initial professional experience, ideally in an analytical or business development role (e.g. internships or working student roles in consulting or banking)
  • You have strong analytical skills and enjoy working with complex data to derive clear and actionable recommendations
  • You bring solid knowledge of Excel and are comfortable building models, deriving insights, and automating workflows
  • You have a structured yet flexible working style, adapting quickly to changing priorities and project requirements
  • You are fluent in English; German skills are a plus
