SAP RAR and Project Systems Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned Senior SAP RAR and Project Systems (PS) Consultant to join our team and lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP solutions focused on Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) and Project Systems (PS). In this critical role, you will work cross-functionally to support end-to-end business processes that drive financial compliance, project execution, and revenue recognition under IFRS 15. Your deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, paired with a strategic understanding of finance and project accounting, will be key in delivering robust, scalable solutions that serve both technical and business goals. Who You Are:

• A SAP expert with 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years specifically in SAP RAR and 5+ years in SAP PS.
• Strong understanding of IFRS 15, revenue recognition principles, and SAP S/4HANA functionalities.
• Experienced in at least two full-cycle SAP implementations involving RAR and PS modules.
• Adept at cross-functional collaboration, working effectively with Finance, Sales, and IT stakeholders.
• Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiar with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• SAP module certification is a strong plus.

What You'll Do:

• SAP RAR Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP RAR solutions aligned with IFRS 15 compliance.
• Analyze current business processes and propose optimized revenue recognition strategies.
• Ensure smooth integration of SAP RAR with SD, FI, and CO modules.
• Manage performance obligations, revenue contracts, and event-based recognition rules.
• Oversee data migration, cutover planning, and go-live support for RAR.
• Provide ongoing production support, enhancements, and user documentation.
• SAP Project Systems (PS) Responsibilities:
• Configure and implement SAP PS to support project planning, budgeting, execution, and settlement.
• Integrate PS with FI/CO, MM, SD, and PP modules.
• Align SAP PS structures with business needs including WBS elements, networks, and activities.
• Support capital project accounting and investment management processes.
• Deliver training sessions and create comprehensive documentation for end users and support staff.

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA 2022 or later.
• Ability to perform ABAP debugging for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps related to RAR and PS.
• Experience in Utilities, Telecommunications, High Tech, Construction, or Engineering Services industries.
