A NationalDirector, Special Markets, specializing in unattended retail with a focus on Vistar. This candidate would be responsible for managing and growing business within the unattended retail space, including vending and micro markets. The National Director will spearhead CA Sales execution across a diverse and strategically vital array of non-traditional retail channels. This role would involve developing strategic partnerships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring strong relationships with Vistar, a major distributor in the industry.

  • Leading business development across unattended retail (vending, micro markets), while also being involved with other aspects of the business that could include theater, discounters, home hardware, and travel sectors.
  • Managing customer relationships within the channel.
  • Developing and executing tailored strategies based on shopper insights.
  • Driving execution against distribution, shelving, merchandising, and pricing priorities.
  • Lead customer business reviews, Top-to-Top meetings, and long-range planning to expand CA’s footprint in high-growth formats

Who we are looking for:

  • Experience in Customer Development, Sales Strategy, or Channel Management within the CPG industry
  • Demonstrated success managing complex or non-traditional retail accounts and unlocking white space growth
  • Experience in one or more relevant channels (e.g., Vending, Foodservice, Theater, Value/Discount, Hardware, or Travel Retail) preferred
  • Experience dealing with Vistar HQ preferred
  • Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication, with the ability to align internal and external partners
  • Bachelor’s degree required
