Senior Content Specialist

The ASUS Robotics AI Center is seeking a skilled and versatile Senior Content Specialist to join our global research and development team. This role combines product marketing writing, technical editing, and corporate communications to support the development and promotion of cutting-edge AI and robotics technologies.

We are looking for a talented writer and editor with a keen eye for detail, the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and engaging language, and a flair for crafting compelling marketing copy. The ideal candidate will have experience working collaboratively with technical teams as well as a passion for and commitment to delivering high-quality content across various mediums.

• Develop engaging and effective marketing copy for AI and robotics products, including web content, slogans, press releases, and product descriptions.
• Edit and refine technical documentation, including how-tos, user guides, and internal materials created by engineers, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to align technical and marketing content with organizational goals.
• Write and edit corporate communication materials, such as internal announcements and executive messages.
• Maintain and enforce a consistent tone, voice, and style across all written materials, adhering to brand guidelines.
• Conduct research to ensure the accuracy and relevance of technical and marketing content.
• Stay updated on industry trends in AI, robotics, and relevant technologies and practices to create innovative and impactful content.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in copywriting, technical writing, or editing.
• Proven ability to edit and refine technical documentation created by subject matter experts.
• Experience crafting marketing copy, including web content, press releases, and product descriptions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with collaboration tools, productivity platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office), and content management systems.
• Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., C/C++, Python, or JavaScript) is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI and robotics technologies is a plus.
• Flexibility to attend virtual meetings with the Taiwan-based team at least three nights per week and occasionally travel to Taiwan for team collaboration and project needs.
