Title: Congregate Care Unit Clinician Location: ID-Statewide Work Type: Remote Time Type: Full time Category: Human Services Job Description: CCU Clinician - CYFS Minimum Salary: 32.00 Maximum Salary: 32.00 Pay Rate Type: Hourly Description Clinician opportunities: Congregate Care Unit Clinician (CCU) serves youth in Idaho's child welfare system. CCU clinicians assesses a youth's needs for treatment and matches them with appropriate congregate treatment settings within Idaho preferably. The CCU clinician assists the child welfare case managers in developing plans to transition youth to treatment. Once placed, the CCU clinician reviews treatment recommendations with the treatment facility ensuring the facility has an understanding of the youth's needs and the resources/skill sets to move a youth forward in their healing. This is a statewide position and will report to their nearest DHW location. This position may be eligible for telework after successful completion of probation and necessary training. Approval to telecommute is not guaranteed and subject to termination at any time. The Idaho Department of Health & Welfare is a drug-free workplace. In addition, successful candidates will be required to complete a criminal history background investigation. Employment is dependent upon satisfactory results of the investigation. Our generous benefits package increases the total compensation of a full-time (benefits eligible) Clinician making $32.00/hour to an estimated $44.94/hour. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES: Congregate Care Clinician:

  • Conducts youth need assessments.
  • Matches youth with congregate care treatment programs.
  • Assists with youth transition plans
  • Works with treatment providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans that will move a youth to healing and ultimately step down to a lower level of care.
