We're seeking a passionate and experienced Data Science manager to lead our Product (Software) Data Science team. This team plays a central role in data-driven decision-making and optimize our strategic products across the entire product lifecycle. This role would be a key strategic partner to Product leaders and cross-functional partners in Engineering and Growth to identify opportunities to improve product adoption and performance at scale.

What You’ll Do

• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of data scientists, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive

• Guide and mentor the team in applying a variety of science-driven approaches—including statistical modeling, experimentation, root cause analysis—to drive production adoption, optimize product features, and quantify strategic opportunities

• Partner with Product leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to optimize all stages of the product lifecycle, including product development, adoption, and related GTM initiatives 

• Perform as a thought leader for Data Science and Product teams to scope, craft, and implement science-driven strategies that drive measurable Product impact

• Clearly and persuasively communicate data insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring your findings influence stakeholders at all levels

Qualification

• 8+ years industry experience and an advanced degree (PhD or MS) in a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, Computer Science, Economics) 

• 2+ years of experience managing and mentoring data science teams, with a demonstrable track record of fostering growth and development of the team

• 5+ years of experience communicating the results of analyses to leadership teams and cross-functional teams to influence the strategy

• Passion for management and creating opportunities for career growth for team members

• Demonstrated ability to create, drive, and execute impactful data roadmaps for the business

• Expert in data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R); experience in schema design and dimensional data modeling a plus

• Experience in technology, financial services and/or a high growth environment is advantageous
