PR Account Executive (Entretenimiento & Streaming)

At Edelman Mexico, we’re looking for a passionate and driven Account Executive with a strong interest in entertainment, streaming platforms, and cultural trends to join our Brand Communications team.

We’re seeking a proactive, organized communicator with excellent writing skills and media relations experience, particularly in the entertainment and digital content sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of accounts in the entertainment and streaming industry.

Draft and adapt press releases, Q&As, media alerts, and key messages.

Build and maintain targeted media lists focused on entertainment, pop culture, and lifestyle.

Coordinate and follow up on public relations initiatives such as interviews, junkets, premieres, and content launches.

Monitor media and digital channels for mentions, trends, and editorial opportunities.

Prepare results reports, media coverage analyses, and client presentations.

Support the development of spokesperson materials and media outreach plans.

Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure timely and effective campaign execution.

Requirements

2 to 3 years of experience in communications, PR agencies, or media, preferably working with entertainment, cultural, or streaming clients.

Strong knowledge of the Mexican and Latin American media landscape, especially in entertainment, lifestyle, and digital culture.

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.

Experience with event coordination, integrated campaigns, and talent/media relations is a plus.
