Senior Back-End Developer - (Python / Kotlin)

We are seeking a Senior Kotlin Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for writing clean, maintainable code primarily in Kotlin and Python, designing and building scalable microservices, and leading technical efforts on key features. You will work closely with the product and engineering teams to solve complex technology and business problems with elegant, simple solutions.

Requirements

- 5+ years of professional experience in software development.

- Strong expertise in Kotlin and Python programming.

- Experience designing and building microservices.

- Solid understanding of AWS cloud services, particularly serverless architectures (ECS/Fargate, Lambda).

- Experience with frameworks and technologies such as Micronaut, ReactJS, and Selenium.

- Proficiency in working with PostgreSQL databases.

- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Datadog.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building scalable, reliable systems.

- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating in agile teams. Responsibilities

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Kotlin and Python.

- Design, build, and maintain microservices and backend components.

- Participate actively in product discussions, providing technical insights to shape product features.

- Act as a technical lead for selected features and epics, ensuring quality and best practices.

- Implement serverless architectures using AWS services such as ECS/Fargate and Lambda.

- Collaborate with frontend teams (ReactJS) and QA automation efforts (Selenium/Python).

- Work with PostgreSQL databases and monitoring tools like Datadog.

- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
