Job Overview We are on the lookout for a proactive and experienced individual to fill the role of CSI Assistant Director of Training. In this pivotal position, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing safety and security training programs that engage a diverse range of community stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate closely with the Director of Training to create and provide impactful training initiatives focused on safety and security. • Organize logistical elements for training events, including scheduling, participant registration, and preparation of training materials. • Conduct thorough site assessments and vulnerability evaluations to pinpoint potential security concerns, suggesting effective mitigation strategies. • Remain well-informed about the latest security threats and best practices within the realm of emergency management. • Actively engage with community outreach initiatives and foster strong partnerships with local law enforcement and governmental agencies. • Offer on-call support, addressing incidents and delivering guidance to community members as needed. Required Skills • At least 3 years of experience in law enforcement, military, corporate security, or a related discipline. • Demonstrated experience in creating and delivering training programs to varied audiences. • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. • A deep commitment to community safety and a genuine desire to make a difference. Qualifications • Relevant experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is essential. • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
