Remote location(s): United States.Minimum qualifications: • Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related quantitative field or equivalent practical experience. • 8 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis, or 6 years of experience with a PhD. Preferred qualifications: • Cyber security experience and experience with threat intelligence products and services. • Experience working with cyber threat intelligence data (e.g. indicators of compromise, packets, logs, malware). • Expertise in cyber threat intelligence (CTI) analysis and finished intelligence production. • Knowledge of the cyber threat landscape, including actors, TTPs, targets. About The Job Mandiant Analysts write industry-leading cyber threat intelligence reports. Our team, made up of Data Scientists, provides solutions that facilitate analyst workflows using data. All of our efforts have the goal of enabling Mandiant analysts to focus on what they do best: producing excellent intelligence reporting to help our customers defend themselves against cyber threats. Part of Google Cloud, Mandiant is a recognized leader in dynamic cyber defense, threat intelligence and incident response services. By scaling decades of frontline experience, Mandiant helps organizations to be confident in their readiness to defend against and respond to cyber threats. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $177,000-$266,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities • Use a deep understanding of cyber security and data science to build AI solutions to transform Mandiant Intelligence analysis workflows, helping the team dramatically scale operations. • Collaborate with analysts to pinpoint workflow bottlenecks and design targeted data science solutions. • Leverage expertise in Natural Language Processing and machine learning to extract meaningful insights from threat intelligence data sets, enabling analysts to deliver high quality insights to Mandiant customers more efficiently. • Leverage Python expertise to build scalable solutions that seamlessly integrate analytics into the intelligence workflow, with an eye towards transitioning successful projects to an appropriate engineering team.
