Title: Medical Transcriptionist / Scribe Company: Vitreo-Retinal Associates Location: Grand Rapids, MI – this is on-site in our office, with NO option for remote work Travel: Travel to our office in Kalamazoo, MI may be required as needed. We do pay mileage reimbursement! You may need to work a little earlier/later as needed. Vitreo-Retinal Associates is looking for a Transcriptionist/Scribe to join our growing team! The Transcription team members at Vitreo-Retinal Associates are responsible and accountable for efficiently and accurately completing the Electronic Health Record (EHR) for all exams, testing interpretations, referrals, notes, etc. The Transcription team members work effectively with Physicians and other team members to ensure quality documentation in the patients' health records. Responsibilities: • Efficient and accurate data entry in the EHR system based on Physician dictation. • Great attention to detail and ability to recognize inconsistencies and missing necessary data. • Ability to work independently. • Effectively communicate with the Physicians, Executive Director, and other team members. Qualifications: • Transcription experience preferred but not required. • Basic medical terminology knowledge preferred. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Good organization skills.
