Description Apple seeks an individual with the skills to strategically identify and drive corrective actions for the top issues affecting the Apple Watch product family. In this position, you will have responsibility for Watch products throughout the program lifecycle, with the goal of identifying and driving improvements to product quality. This position partners with Engineering, Product Design... Operations, AppleCare, and component teams. This is a key role to support ongoing quality improvement for an exciting product. Strong technical, presentation, and organizational skills are essential.-Support entire program development cycle, from design concept through program end of life-Work with commodity managers and supplier quality engineers to ensure component quality and reliability; make recommendations to improve design/test-Own product quality strategy and execution across incoming quality, in-line quality, outgoing quality, and ongoing reliability testing-Develop and implement new technologies to enhance quality, capacity, and efficiency-Spearhead innovative new ways to identify and resolve customer-facing issues-Develop and advocate for new, innovative metrics for measuring performance-Establish new methods for monitoring and reporting factory health and status, including -Incoming Quality Control (IQC), Outgoing Quality Control (OQC), and Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT)-Lead data-driven approaches to failure analysis on Watches-Implement best practices and learnings across manufacturing sites-Strategically prioritize top-issue investigations and corrective actions-Succinctly communicate technical updates to the executive team Pay & Benefits • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $122,300 and $184,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
