The Games UI team is looking for a Senior Test Engineer to improve the quality of our new cloud games. The Games UI team is responsible for the platform UI on all Netflix-enabled devices, including game detection and platform functionality. The team is passionate about bringing a new kind of "joy" to hundreds of millions of Netflix users around the world, whether they're traveling somewhere far away or at home with their families. As our games initiative grows and evolves, the quality of our work will be a factor in the future success of games at Netflix. This role will work on unique connectivity and device interaction challenges. You'll work with cross-functional partners like product managers, designers, and data scientists to develop and test exciting new features. - You are independent and proactive in finding solutions that combine business needs with technology.
- You have experience in internet or TV testing and have in-depth knowledge of both
- You are able to analyze data to gain insights that lead to improved application
- You are an open and proactive communicator, sharing context, ideas, and opinions while educating others to be more
- You are comfortable with a degree of uncertainty and ambiguity.
- Test automation with object-oriented testing frameworks like Design and Implement Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, React Testing Library, and Jest.
- Develop a robust testing strategy and framework using existing Recommend improvements to testing infrastructure and testing tools, as needed.
- Debug problems with a variety of tools and identify root causes in close collaboration with the user interface
- Collect and analyze operational data to better understand how to improve test stability, performance, and developer engagement.
