We are hiring Virtualization Engineer - 100% remote for a Contract position in Denver, CO Virtualization Engineer... Working within the Infrastructure Services team, the Virtualization Engineer role focuses on the development, testing, and implementation of virtualization infrastructure and services. The Virtualization Engineer will contribute to the execution of design, architecture, implementation, integration, and processes to define the capabilities and understanding of what virtualized infrastructure and compute services can accomplish. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES In order of significance, list the essential functions and responsibilities of the position and the typical % of time spent performing them. List only duties with a 5% of Time allocation or greater. All other duties are accounted for in Other Duties as Assigned which must remain on all Job Descriptions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTION % OF TIME 1. Design, documentation, implementation, and delivery of virtual infrastructure. To include capacity, performance, availability, automated provisioning, and event management. 30% 2.Collaborate closely with various technology teams to provide technical expertise to guide the utilization or integration of virtualization products and infrastructure. 20% 3. Contribute to deliverables for engineering priorities as defined in the engineering roadmaps. Support the management of pilot or POC initiatives. 20% 4. Active participation and contribution in engineering forums, new technology meetings, and steering committees. 5% 5. Research and evaluate technology for appropriateness. Implement upgrade or migration strategies. 10% 6. Contribute to technical and business-related discussions with stakeholders from various parts of the business. Use information gathered to develop and maintain an environment that addresses the business's needs using infrastructure solutions. 5% 7.
