Job Summary of Part-Time Freight Driver: Become a leader in package delivery by joining the UPS team as a part-time Tractor Trailer Driver. As a Feeder Driver, you'll be responsible for driving a tractor trailer between UPS locations or to customers, ensuring efficient and secure package delivery... Job Duties and Responsibilities of Part-Time Freight Driver: • Pilot a commercial truck and deliver merchandise between UPS facilities or clients in designated transportation lanes. • Keep a flexible schedule to be available during weekdays, weekends, and/or nights as needed. • Follow all stipulations specified by the DOT and the establishment, including meeting the criteria for the DOT physical evaluation. • Employees at UPS have to follow the company-mandated dress code, which includes putting on the provided uniform. • Emphasize your consistency, responsibility, and love for driving a big rig. • Upholding the Legal Allowance to Work in the United States. Qualifications and Experience of Part-Time Freight Driver: • No commercial driver can operate without a valid Class A CDL (commercial driver’s license) issued by their state of domicile. • The requirement for doubles and triples endorsement can vary based on where you are operating. • Attaining the aptness to pass the Department of Transportation physical assessment. • Possessing a great sense of dependability and responsibility. • An unbridled love for maneuvering trucks and catering to customers' needs with distinction.
