And that's where you come in: we are looking for a Finance Manager What You Will Be Doing  Serve as a key member of the FP&A organization reporting to the Director of FP&A  Liaison with department heads in Operations, Engineering, & Product Management  Partner with Finops team to forecast and report on AWS and related expenses  Partner with R&D leaders to solve budget constraints and identify opportunities to scale the organization  Work with executives and senior leaders to solve complex problems and plan investments in our technology platform to support teaching & learning  Create budgets for quarterly forecast process, monthly/quarterly reporting, contribute monthly/quarterly variance analysis, monthly headcount planning, performing high level/detailed audit of department costs, purchase order/invoice reconciliations  Identify, design, and implement process improvements/technologies that enable the FP&A team to more efficiently report and forecast financial performance  Partner with international FP&A & R&D team members to accomplish goals set by finance and R&D leadership  Perform ad-hoc analysis as required Here's What You Will Need To Know/have  BachelorÂs degree required (preferably in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or another business discipline)  4-6 years of financial analysis and reporting experience  Experience with Adaptive Insights or similar FP&A planning software  Experience with Netsuite, SalesForce, Workday, or other comparable software/technologies  Strong business partnering skills and prior exposure to business strategy, processes, and financial objectives  Self-starter and quick learner; demonstrated independence and autonomy in a high-performing work environment  Experience in a fast-paced, growth company  Bias towards finding solutions vs. shutting down ideas  Preference for candidates who have a background in tech/software/SaaS Get In On All The Awesome At Instructure  Competitive salary, equity, and 401k  Employee stock purchase plan  HSA program, vision, voluntary life, and AD&D  Tuition reimbursement  Lifestyle Spending Account  Paid time off, 11 paid holidays, and flexible work schedules $120,000 - $130,000 a year WeÂve always believed in hiring the most awesome people and treating them right.
