We are actively seeking a motivated... and skilled entry-level programmer/developer to join our team and contribute to our innovative initiatives. Location: Remote (United States) Job Type: Full-Time Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and test clean, maintainable, and efficient code for our web application and our legacy GUI-based application; Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards; Contribute to the design and architecture of web applications, ensuring scalability and performance; Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve overall system functionality and user satisfaction; and Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in web development, incorporating relevant advancements into our platform. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience); Strong understanding of web development fundamentals; Proficiency in JavaScript and Java programming languages; Familiarity with Progress OpenEdge technologies is a plus; Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., SmartClient, React, Angular) is desirable; Knowledge of database systems and SQL; Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; Strong communication and teamwork abilities; and Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
