- Experience working with children ages 6 weeks-3 yrs

- Have the ability to be physically and mentally present for the children.
- Are proactive problem-solvers, care for the environment, and build relationships.
- Have keen awareness and observation skills.
- Communicate articulately, respectfully, and constructively.
- Establish and enforce rules and boundaries of behavior for children in their classrooms. We have a very structured classroom environment.
- Able to maintain professional standards with children, colleagues, and parents.
- Will learn and utilize the Montessori method to guide children, use resources, and explore during learning and play activities.
- Monday-Friday
- 3:30 - 5:30 Afternoons
- Ability to be on your feet.
- Ability to lift and move.
- Ability to conduct chores apart from childcare (cleaning, etc.)
- Willingness to engage with young children and other staff members.
- Ages 18 or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPR and First Aid Certified or willing to be certified.
- Experience with children (preferred but not required)
