Hiring Organization: UPS Educational Requirements: Bachelor Degree Industry: Private Salary: $35–40/Year Location: USA This position creates, plans, tests, integrates, and delivers system software and hardware solutions. It includes field support, site visits to evaluate performance, installation review, and project execution. You will test applications, manage project lifecycles, work on-site with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional staff to ensure functional, performant, and reliable systems. Note: This is not a remote or flex location position. The selected candidate will be required to report to their assigned office. Work Level: FT Manager Grade Compensation: 20E Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40+ hours/week, flexible schedule Duties: - Identify issues for resolution by engineers or application developers. - Communicate with the management team to provide updates. - Collect data from tested solutions to compare against benchmarks. - Perform field verification of installed systems. - Supervise contractors and developers for workstation/server/embedded software for control systems. - Follow up with project teams to manage schedules and deliverables. - Provide field support during systems integration. - Collaborate on project requirements. - Attend design review meetings with stakeholders. Qualifications: - Flexible schedule including weekends, with 80–90% travel. - Preferred: experience with robotics systems, C++, Python, ROS, MATLAB, Linux, and modern security practices.
