Remote after training, but must be willing to come into the office for 1-2 weeks (training) and periodically after.Job Description:
Under the direction of the Billing Unit supervisor, the temporary Claims Eligibility Specialist will be responsible for adjudicating and processing fee-for-service claims, billing and eligibility inquiries and other assigned billing dutiesExperience:
- Medical billing knowledge (including completion of CMS 1500)
- State Medicaid basic knowledge
- Type 40 – 50 wpm
- Communicate well verbally and in writing
- Excellent customer service skills
- Time management skills
- Must be detail-oriented and thorough
- Must be organized and able to work as part of a team
