This seasonal role supports our facilities team by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our parish, school, and visitors during the summer months.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform deep cleaning of classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areasStrip, wax, and buff tile floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets as neededMove and rearrange furniture and equipment for cleaning or summer projectsPerform minor maintenance tasks (painting, repairs, bulb replacements, etc.)Assist with outdoor upkeep (trash pickup, light grounds maintenance)Maintain cleaning equipment and monitor suppliesFollow safety protocols and diocesan guidelines at all timesEnsure respect and care for religious spaces and itemsJob RequirementsPrior custodial, janitorial, or maintenance experience preferredMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical laborReliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team30-40 hours per weekAt the Archdiocese of St. Louis, we believe that every job is a potential pathway to purpose.
