Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner (EP NP) to join our dynamic team.Nurse Practitioner - Electrophysiology Arrhythmia Center - Queens Medical GroupJoin the growing Arrhythmia Center at Queens Medical Group as a Nurse Practitioner and play a vital role in delivering advanced cardiac care. In this role, you'll work closely with the Medical Director and a multidisciplinary electrophysiology team to ensure optimal outcomes for patients with complex arrhythmias.In this role, you will:Manage and treat existing patients within the practiceConduct comprehensive arrhythmia assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plansPrescribe and perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventionsParticipate in and supervise diagnostic procedures and clinical protocolsKey Responsibilities:Demonstrate advanced understanding of cardiac electrophysiology, including implantable electronic devicesInterpret intracardiac electrograms and pacemaker/defibrillator dataIdentify and troubleshoot issues with implanted cardiac devicesPerform routine device testing and reprogramming independently or with minimal supervisionReview and interpret data from remotely monitored devicesManage and respond to clinical findings from remote transmissions; assist in troubleshooting remote monitorsThis is a Full time Day shift position, 4 days per week, 8am to 6pm. No weekends or holidays. Located at 56-45 Main Street Flushing, NY 11355Preferred Criteria:Advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and electrophysiologyMinimum of 2 years of electrophysiology NP experienceRequired Criteria:Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner.Current New York State NP and RN licensesNP board certification through ANCC or AANPBLS CertificationJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
