Transfer Pricing Consultant
This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 1000000 - Rs 2400000 (ie INR 10-24 LPA) Min Experience: 4 years JobType: full-time We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Transfer Pricing Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over four years of hands-on experience in transfer pricing advisory, compliance, and documentation, with a strong command over Form 3CEB, Advance Pricing Agreements (APA), and international taxation concepts aligned with OECD guidelines and BEPS framework. The role demands analytical thinking, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to advise multinational clients on complex cross-border transactions. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust transfer pricing strategies for domestic and international clients in line with Indian and global tax regulations.
- Prepare and review Form 3CEB and ensure timely and accurate compliance with Indian transfer pricing documentation requirements.
- Assist clients with the preparation and filing of Advance Pricing Agreements (APA) – unilateral, bilateral, and multilateral – including functional analysis, economic benchmarking, and negotiation support.
- Perform detailed functional, financial, and economic analyses to determine arm’s length pricing for intercompany transactions.
- Advise on transfer pricing aspects of global supply chains, restructurings, and intercompany agreements.
- Apply OECD guidelines and BEPS Action Plans to ensure compliance and alignment with global best practices.
- Collaborate with tax authorities and support during audits and litigation processes relating to transfer pricing adjustments.
- Monitor regulatory changes and market developments impacting transfer pricing and provide timely insights to clients and internal teams.
- Liaise with cross-functional internal teams and external advisors to ensure consistent and efficient delivery of services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or related field. Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, or LLB are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in transfer pricing, preferably in a Big 4 or a reputed consulting firm.
- Proven experience in handling Form 3CEB and preparing documentation for APA applications.
- In-depth understanding of OECD transfer pricing guidelines, BEPS framework, and Indian transfer pricing regulations.
- Familiarity with intercompany pricing policies, profit split methodologies, CUP, TNMM, and other transfer pricing methods.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-specialists.
- Strong client management and project coordination capabilities.
