- Extend friendly greetings to all visitors and take a proactive approach in assisting customers to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Express a sincere commitment to engaging with customers by embodying passion, knowledge, persistence, and dedication to their sport or hobby
- Promote company initiatives, including warranty sales, loyalty programs, and seasonal promotions, to customers
- Nurture a welcoming and inclusive store atmosphere that values and respects all individuals, prioritizing their safety and well-being while fostering a sense of community within the establishment
- Supporting the team and store may entail the performance of additional tasks in light of changing business circumstances
Qualification of Sporting Goods Sales Advisor:
- Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
