Senior Manager - Compliance Assurance
Description:
- DoorDash is hiring an experienced compliance leader to help build our compliance assurance function.
- This role will establish the global legal compliance strategy in partnership with various teams.
- You will translate regulatory requirements and legal guidance into controls and mature the organization’s overall compliance strategy.
- Lead end-to-end improvements and automation in compliance workflows and reporting pipelines.
- Drive cross-functional alignment and deliver granular compliance insights.
- Looking for someone with strong work ethic, analytical and communication skills.
- Ideal candidate is creative, self-starter, and has strong project management skills.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in compliance, audit, risk management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing compliance programs in a fast-paced environment, preferably in technology or finance sectors.
- Deep understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Experience working cross-functionally to align on compliance standards and reporting processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly convey regulatory complexities to various technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess compliance issues and propose practical solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor experienced reports and drive results through collaboration.
- Certifications such as the CIA, CISA, and CRISC or accreditation by industry bodies such as ACAMS in risk management or financial compliance, are preferred but not required.
