Staff Data Scientist - Notification & Engagement Strategy

Description:

• We are seeking talented Data Scientists to join our Guest & Host Experience Data Science team.
• As a Staff Data Scientist in the Notification & Engagement space, you will be instrumental in shaping our strategy to drive user engagement and satisfaction.
• You will collaborate with XF partners across product, engineering, design and marketing to improve and personalize notifications.
• Research and develop metrics to measure notification fatigue.
• Partner with Engineering teams to develop and evaluate models to optimize notifications.
• Perform a deep-dive analysis of the effectiveness of various product experiences.
• Regularly present findings and recommendations to inform strategy and cross-functional roadmaps.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree (PhD or Masters) in Data Science, Econometrics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 9+ years of relevant industry experience (6+ with a PhD).
• Proven ability to effectively communicate and influence at various altitudes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with XFN partners in product, engineering, and design to enable data-driven product development with a focus on the user experience.
• Experience with causal inference and machine learning techniques, ideally in a multi-sided platform setting.
• Prior experience in notifications and/or marketing is preferred.
