Non-Captive Insurance Agent

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Insurance Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients in selecting the right insurance products to meet their needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to negotiate effectively. Duties • Engage with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions. • Conduct thorough assessments of client requirements and recommend appropriate insurance products. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service. • Effectively communicate policy details, terms, and conditions to clients. • Negotiate terms of insurance policies to achieve favorable outcomes for both the client and the company. • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in insurance sales. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive client information. • Participate in outside sales activities to expand the client base and promote services. • Assist clients with benefits administration as needed. Experience • Proven experience in customer service or sales roles is preferred. • Familiarity with insurance products and services is a plus. • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close sales effectively. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous. • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is beneficial for maintaining client confidentiality. • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
