T-SQL Developer

Position: T-SQL Developer Location: Mechanicsburg, PA need to be onsite in Harrisburg/Mechanicsburg PA on the first day.Rate available on C2C.Visa: ALL (Needs to be from NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, WV area which and willing to relocate if they are not within commutable distance)Typical Duties:Designs, develops, and maintains database code objects, including coding for SQL stored procedures and views, in cooperation with application developers and in accordance with database standards and best practices.Designs, develops and maintains database code scripts to validate or maintain data external to the application.Manages and performs detailed testing of database objects and scripts; performs code reviews.Writes and maintains specifications and documentation for database objects and scripts.Contributes to the design of the data model for application modifications/enhancements.Identifies SQL code performance issues and optimizes SQL code for performance.Participates (with a team of six) in an on-call weekly rotation to provide support for critical systems outside regular working hours.Additional Requirements / Preferences:Satisfactory criminal background check required. (completed by AOPC)Extensive experience in client-server application development using T-SQL for coding stored procedures and database scripts with a good understanding of relational database concepts required.Advanced working knowledge of SAP (formerly Sybase) Adaptive Server Enterprise preferred.
