Retail Field Specialist - Center Store

Job Title: I.S.E Field Specialist Department: Retail Services Reports to: I.S.E Center Store Manager Key Food Stores Co-Operative, Inc. Summary: Lead and follow all aspects of Key Food Co-Operative, Inc. Retail Services policies, objectives, and initiatives in the field. Plan, co-ordinate and manage the activities of the assigned retail team to maintain and enhance customer relationships and meet company objectives. . Job Description: ? Understand the purpose and value of the Elite Vendor Program ? Ensure the development of the most efficient SKU rationalization for the execution of the most productive store plan-o-grams ? ?Fix the Mix? by increasing sales, profits, inventory turns, cash flow, and reduction of shrink ? Generate reports and plan-o-gram recommendations to increase business ? Utilize CDTs and planograms in stores to set categories to manufacturer specifications ? Evaluate status of current business using movement reports, consumption trends, gross margin, neighborhood demographics and information from store management ? Analyze item ranking reports, discontinued items, and new items for store resets ? Perform product resets in coordination with vendor personnel. Keep a record of all resets ? Prepare price surveys on requested products ? Support stores for grand opening: o Resetting sections within the store. o Assisting in breaking down Warehouse and DSD deliveries from pallets to hand- trucks or U-boats o Lifting of shelves. o Removing cardboard from aisle and operating a bailer. ? Respond to customer inquiries and problem solving in a professional and effective manner ? Provide feedback to manager regarding service failures or customer concerns ? Promote white sheets and pallet/ direct shipment programs to store personnel ? Maintain in depth working knowledge of Key Food retail systems and processes ? Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications: o EDUCATION ? High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred. o SKILLS & EXPERIENCE ? Four (4) to five (5) years merchandising or department manager experience ? Knowledge of grocery, dairy, frozen food products and what sells in the category ? Written and verbal communication skills ? Must be a self-starter with the ability to think and work independently ? Superior interpersonal and customer service skills ?
