Pediatric Medical Assistant
Location: Burbank, CA Job Type: Full-Time 8:00 am- 5:30 pm Key Responsibilities: ? Assist pediatricians with patient examinations and procedures. ? Perform blood draws and other specimen collections with precision and care. ? Record patient information, vital signs, and medical histories accurately. ? Prepare and administer medications and vaccines as directed by the physician. ? Provide patient education and support to families regarding treatments and procedures. ? Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all medical equipment is sterilized and ready for use. ? Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle administrative tasks as needed. ? Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards. Qualifications: ? Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification. ? Previous experience in a pediatric setting is preferred. ? Proficiency in phlebotomy and blood draw techniques. ? Bilingual Spanish preferred. ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and patient demeanor. ? Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. ? Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. ? CPR and First Aid certification. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
