We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Merchandise Assistant Manager. In this role, you will assist the Merchandise Manager in overseeing the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of products in our stores. If you are passionate about retail and have a strong eye for detail, we want to hear from you! As a successful candidate, you must have a minimum of 2 years of merchandising experience and possess excellent communication and leadership skills. Assist the Merchandise Manager in overseeing the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of products in all Dollar Tree stores. Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely restocking of products in all stores. Work closely with the Merchandise Manager to develop and implement effective merchandising strategies. Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. Conduct regular store visits to ensure product availability, proper merchandising, and adherence to company standards. Train and supervise store associates on merchandising procedures and techniques. Monitor sales trends and make recommendations for product assortment changes. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sales data, and vendor information. Assist in creating and maintaining visual merchandising displays that adhere to company standards. Communicate effectively with store managers and other team members to ensure efficient and timely product flow. Participate in the development and execution of promotional campaigns and sales events. Oversee the implementation of planograms and product placement in stores. Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify potential opportunities and threats. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating store associates. Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints. Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for improvements to processes and procedures. Assist in budget planning and management of expenses related to merchandise procurement and distribution. Perform any other tasks or duties assigned by the Merchandise Manager.
