Training & development About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Medical Surgical Travel Registered Nurse to join our team at Biron Robertson for roles across North Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients while enjoying the excitement of travel nursing. Required Skills/Certs/Experience ? Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years of experience required in last 5 years ? 1st time travelers accepted ? Must be able to take heparin drips ? Colostomy Care ? Feeding tube care and management ? Blood product Administration ? Central line care/management, Peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, IV starts, ? Management of dysrhythmias ? O2 Protocol Management ? Non-invasive airway management ? Isolation Precautions/PPE ? EPIC documentation ? Certs: BLS Preferred Skills/Certs/Exp: ? ACLS, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Management of drips, CVA, Pre/Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal cord injuries Job Details: ? Target Ratios: 1:6-7 (Must be comfortable with these ratios) ? Shift: 12HR NIGHTS. 36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48 hours. ? Traumatic Brain injury, ortho trauma, surgucal drains, chest tubes- Emerson/Pleuravac, Nasal Cannula, Oral Suctioning, Tracheostomy Management, Wound care.
