Medical Lab Courier - Part Time
Medical Courier company seeks qualified candidates to fill several Part-Time positions. Candidates must meet the following requirements: ? Own a well maintained, fuel efficient vehicle. ? Subscribe and maintain a roadside assistance account such as AAA. ? Delivery experience required, light training will be provided. ? Punctual, reliable, professional and detail oriented. ? Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills. ? Speak and write fluent English and communicate effectively. ? Positive attitude and follow written and verbal directions. ? Understand the importance of outstanding customer service. ? Able to lift up to 25lbs and use a small cart or hand truck on occasion. ? Able to physically enter and exit vehicle frequently throughout shift. ? Able to ascend and descend stairs or ramps to access buildings. ? Be comfortable using elevators as well as driving after dusk. ? Ability to learn how to use company software & apps. ? 21 years of age or older. ? Familiarity with the roads and highways of NJ. ? Clean driving record for the past 3 years. ? Smart-phone with GPS, Text and Email capability. ? A detailed job description will be provided upon interview. Shifts are Monday through Friday and the hours vary depending on the position, volume and type of work available. No weekends. Operating hours are from 7am to 10pm with various shifts and assignments available. Typical volume includes envelopes, charts, files, light supplies but mainly medical specimens. No heavy lifting. Position requires a well maintained, fuel efficient vehicle, a sub-compact or compact vehicle is ideal. Proof of registration, inspection and valid insurance is required. Compensation depends on experience and available routes. The range is $17.00 to $19.00 per hour. A $500 signing bonus is paid after the first six (6) months with an additional $1,000 bonus after one (1) year. Includes paid time off, fuel and toll reimbursement and potential for maintenance reimbursement. A performance review after a 90-day introductory period will be conducted. A NJ Motor Vehicle Report is required. All candidates must have a clean driving record, no exceptions. This is a fun job for those who like to be outdoors and like to drive.
