GEC Quality Assurance Analyst - Trust and Safety - Austin

Responsibilities

Team Introduction Building a world where people can safely discover, create and connect. The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community. It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance. This may occur in the form of images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals. Our Search Operations team performs a critical function that supports our efforts to address objectionable or disturbing content. Content that the Product Policy Specialist interacts with includes images, video, and text related to everyday life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals. The Global E-Commerce team works to ensure that TikTok users find high-quality, appropriate content and merchandise while searching through the TikTok Shop and watching videos on their For You pages. We aim to optimize user experience and drive monetization while providing users with a safe viewing and shopping experience. What will I be doing? - Quality inspection of evaluated data and daily tasks of specialists. - Localize the policies, be responsible for policy training, and align the policy updates - Conduct calibration meetings with the team in the appeal process: analyze different cases, record and evaluate their performance, offer solutions and suggestions for the current problem to help the team improve the accuracy rate and alignment - Work closely with R&D(Research and Development) and PM(Product Manager) in order to provide feedback on data quality - Willing to work with sensitive issues that include child exploitation, a variety of religious and political views, violence, adult & sexual content - Other Ad-hoc and relevant projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or above - Excellent English proficiency. The English skill set will help you to evaluate quality cases from the US Market. - Experience in quality assessment or related areas, with the ability to evaluate metrics and identify trends in data; - Strong adaptability to learn and understand new ad-hoc projects, with the ability to quickly grasp new guidelines and procedures. - Experience in coaching, training, and conducting calibration sessions to align quality standards. Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge about AI or related models, familiar with social media platforms. - Proficiency with data analysis tools; - An in-depth understanding of US culture and familiarity with the Internet usage habits of local users - Familiar with common office software, search evaluation experience is preferred Apply Job!
