Adjunct Professor - Interior Architecture & Design

The Design Division at La Roche University is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Adjunct Professor - Interior Architecture & Design. This position may be scheduled to teach during the 2025 Fall Semester and is considered an adjunct faculty member. The position requires in-person teaching and may include courses in Foundations, Rendering, Sustainability and Interior Design Studios. Adjunct assignments are part-time and may be temporary, on an as needed basis. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Provide quality instruction for new and continuing students in our undergraduate Interior Architecture & Design Department • Ability to teach, interact, and evaluate students who come from diverse backgrounds and levels of ability and promptly respond to student needs • Regularly evaluate student progress and provide appropriate feedback • Follow established teaching procedures and protocols within the Design Division and attend Adjunct meetings Education/Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or related field required, Master's preferred • Ability to use online course platforms to present materials and evaluate student work • 3-5 years of industry experience • Prior teaching experience given priority • Daytime availability is a plus Application Procedure: Interested applicants should submit: • Letter of application • Curriculum Vitae or Resume • Link(s) to online portfolio of professional work • Link(s) to online portfolio of student work (if applicable) • List of three professional references Candidates must pass background clearances and submit official transcripts prior to the issuance of a contract.
