Job Reference # 311824BR Job Type Full Time Your role We are seeking a credit systematic trader to join our fixed income algorithmic trading team within UBS Global Markets. This is a fast paced and collaborative team specialized in the development and management of best-in-class automated strategies in the fixed income space. The role will initially be focused on Corporate Bond Trading covering Algo, Portfolio Trading and ETF will apply data-driven and systematic approach to trading. will employ statistical analysis to optimize quoting and risk management strategies. will be involved in every aspect of algorithmic trading: designing, back testing, implementing trading strategies and as well tracking performance. will be responsible to oversee Portfolio Trading and ETF create /redeem activities in collaboration with the wider credit business You have strong interest in data, possess strong analytical skills and have a passion for financial markets. You have experience in credit markets and strong scientific background Your team The credit and rates electronic and systematic trading team is at the forefront of innovation in automated trading in fixed income and has a large mandate in the bank, covering government bonds, interest rate swaps and corporate bonds around the globe creating automated and semi-automated strategy. We aim at maximizing automation and driving trading revenues. We're an experienced and highly technical team with strong data analysis and software development skills. The team is diverse and global, and the working environment is challenging but also enjoyable. We are passionate about solving technical problems and we strive for excellence. Your expertise excellence in statistical modelling and data science excellent Python skills with proven knowledge of essential packages great problem-solving and analytical ability self-starter you can work independently ready for the responsibility of a desk excellent communication skills including the ability to easily understand and explain business, software, and modelling issues excellent interpersonal skills person of integrity, comfortable to challenge and who collaborates naturally knowledge of fixed income market making from previous work in algorithmic trading context. experience in electronic fixed income eco-system: trading venues and protocols.
