Citizens First Bank: A Five Star Bank where hospitality meets finance. About the Position: Citizens First Bank is seeking a Mortgage Review Manager to champion excellence in mortgage quality control. The Mortgage Review Manager ensures compliance with mortgage laws and internal controls for loan processes. The Mortgage Review Manager oversees GSE requirements, supervises the review team, and supports the Banks vision and values. What you'll do as a Mortgage Review Manager: Oversee the Mortgage Quality Control Program to meet insurer and guarantor requirements. Collaborate across the bank to assess quality control risks and departmental impacts. Develop and implement effective mortgage quality control policies and processes. Review revisions to disclosures, modification agreements, and notices. Maintain relationships with GSE agencies and respond to their requests. Ensure timely submission of HMDA data to the relevant regulatory agency. Make decisions in line with bank policies and regulatory compliance, considering associated risks to maintain a safe banking environment. Mortgage Review Manager Requirements: Minimum: Bachelor degree or five plus years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of mortgage laws and regulations with the ability to identify and assess compliance risks. Must have a minimum of two years of managerial experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft applications including Access and Excel. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
