Bank Card Services Manager Mountain Valley Bank- Greeley, CO JOB SUMMARY: Manage and oversee bank card services including Debit Cards, Credit Cards and Merchant Services activities of the Bank Card Services department. Develop and maintain efficiencies in the credit card area. RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Oversee Bank cards services department with a focus on operational efficiencies. • Responsible for the supervision of the Bank Card Services team. • Responsible to ensure the training of all new Bank Card Services Assistants. • Maintain knowledge of all Bank Card Services practices and procedures. • Actively manage past due credit card accounts. • Act as system admin for Quick Assist. • Act as primary resource for instant issue card questions and functionality. • Maintain and control accurate files and reports. • Solicit and support customers for merchant processing. • Support Business Development in actively growing the credit card portfolio, and increasing interchange. • Participate in acquisition and conversion opportunities for the company. • Participate in and Lead Special Projects. • Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Qualifications: • Post high school education and/or five years' experience in new accounts, process management or lending. • Math proficiency and aptitude. • Appropriate computer skills • General areas of competency: decision making, dependability, development, environmental safety, evaluation skills, interpersonal skills, prioritizing, problem solving, selling skills, team skills and time management. • Professional appearance. • Demonstrated interpersonal skills. • Effective oral and written communication skills (including telephone). • Self-sufficient/self-starting. • Ability to adjust to flexible hours. • Strong interest in and ability to sell products and services. • Must be capable of working with and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information. Physical Requirements: Light Work - exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Reaching, fingering, grasping, repetitive motions, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, climbing, kneeling, talking, hearing, pulling, pushing, thinking, concentrating and interacting with others.
