Software Engineer in Test
Software Engineer in Test Westlake, TX Onsite Hybrid Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required 10+ years' experience in functional testing in UI, API, database, CICS screens and strong SQL skills. 10+ years of test automation development using Java or similar language. Experience in testing distributed applications at multiple layers of the technology stack Experience with test automation tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, RESTAssured, Git and Jenkins Hands on experience with crafting and maintaining testing frameworks like Junit, TestRunner, Selenium (TestNG) Knowledge of with Version Control Systems (Git, ClearCase etc.) Demonstrated experience with Azure cloud technologies, DevOps, CI/CD experience Practical experience working with both functional and regression testing including test automation within an agile environment Ability to quickly learn, adapt and thrive to meet the needs of a fast paced, changing environment Interpret business requirements and crystallize stories and acceptance criteria for implementation Identify risks and develop contingency plans in anticipation of test automation issues Have the proven ability to work independently as part of an Agile Sprint, Kanban team/squads Proven understanding of the software development process including planning, analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, and problem resolution Use and improve upon an existing automation framework Must-Haves: Principal level candidate with end to end automation testing using the following: Java Selenium Cucumber BDD Rest Assured Jenkins for CI/CD SQL Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
