Software QA / Tester

Software QA Tester We are seeking an experienced Software QA Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. This role is responsible for defining and improving QA procedures, developing and executing test cases, and ensuring quality control standards are met. The QA Tester will work as part of an Agile team, delivering functionality as defined by the Product Owner and reporting to the QA Manager. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases in Azure DevOps based on project requirements. • Document test procedures for use by team members and external testers. • Identify, track, and document bugs, maintaining bug tracking metrics. • Reproduce and isolate customer-reported issues for resolution. • Advocate for product improvements that enhance the overall customer experience. • Participate in requirement analysis to identify potential testing challenges early in the development process. Required Skills & Experience: • 4+ years of hands-on experience in manual and automated testing. • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and test cycles, including Unit, Regression, Functional, System, Stress & Scale, Smoke, and Sanity testing. • Proficiency in nUnit, Selenium, and Visual Studio automation tools. • Experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft TFS, and VSTS. • Familiarity with RESTful service testing and JSON format (preferred). • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud (preferred). • Experience integrating automated testing in a DevOps environment. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. • U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain Public Trust Security Clearance. Education & Experience: • Associate’s Degree in Industrial Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent knowledge). • 4+ years of relevant work experience in software quality assurance. • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
