As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for evaluating and processing claims in accordance with the company's regulations and procedures. In this role, you will be expected to be accurate, thorough, and have excellent communication skills.The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a claims-related role and a high school diploma or equivalent. They must also possess a well-developed knowledge of claims processing and medical terminology. Responsibilities: Evaluate and process claims in accordance with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina's regulations and procedures. Maintain a high level of accuracy and thoroughness when reviewing and processing claims. Provide excellent customer service to claimants and other external parties. Utilize problem-solving skills to address complex claims issues. Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of claims processing and medical terminology. Stay up-to-date on changes to company regulations and procedures. Assist in training new claims adjusters. Maintain detailed records of each claim.
